You have access to your personal information

Following a request; we will provide you with a copy of personal information which we hold about you in accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act. We may charge a fee for retrieving information; however we will inform you of the fee before providing the information. Note that there are some circumstances set out in the Privacy Act where we may refuse your request.

Employee’s records

Although employee records are considered exempt from the provisions of the Privacy Act, Smartcomm handles such records in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.

Smartcomm aims to ensure that your personal information is accurate and complete. Please contact us if you wish to access or revise your personal information or believe that the privacy of your personal information has been compromised. Your complaint will be managed and resolved through our internal complaints handling procedure.

From time-to-time we may provide links to third party sites from our website. Since we do not control these sites we encourage you to review the privacy policies posted on these third party sites. Smartcomm is not responsible for any practices on linked websites that might breach your privacy.
